Britwise School LTD ("Britwise", "we", "us"), a limited company registered in England & Wales with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, and you ("user", "customer").

You must be at least 13 to create an account. Users under 16 require parent/guardian consent. One account = one user. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. Notify support@britwise.info of any unauthorised access promptly.

Britwise provides AI-graded British English speaking practice, personalised learning paths and related resources. Features described at britwise.info may evolve over time; we will give notice of material changes.

(a) Prices are inclusive or exclusive of VAT depending on your jurisdiction (clearly shown at checkout).

(b) Payments are processed by Stripe. Britwise does NOT store full card numbers.

(c) Subscriptions auto-renew on your chosen cycle (monthly/annual) until cancelled. You may cancel any time from /account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle — you keep access through what you've paid for.

(d) UK/EU consumers: you have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 / EU Consumer Rights Directive — UNLESS you have started using the digital service within that period (you waive the cooling-off period by tapping "start speaking").

Applies to individual Pro and Ultimate plans. Requirements: complete at least 25 of 30 days on the AI-recommended schedule, ≥ 25 minutes/day, and submit an "examiner re-rate" request within 7 days of Day 30. If your entry band does not increase by at least +0.5, we refund 100% of that month's fee. Submit claims to refund@britwise.info.

You must NOT: (a) post unlawful, offensive or infringing content; (b) attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or scrape the service; (c) use your account for commercial purposes outside Britwise (e.g. third-party tutoring using Britwise-generated audio) without a licence; (d) abuse the trust by automating the AI Coach. Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.

All software, designs, voice personas (Olivia / Daniel / Sophia) and Britwise-created content are owned by Britwise School LTD. You retain ownership of audio you record; you grant Britwise a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to grade, store and (after anonymisation) improve the product.

Organisational customers sign a separate Master Services Agreement (MSA + DPA + SCCs). Where they conflict, the organisational contract prevails over these terms. Pupils enrolled by a school are administered by the school; the school is the data controller for pupil records.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Britwise's total liability for all claims in the most recent 12 months will not exceed the fees you paid in that 12-month period. We are NOT liable for indirect, consequential, lost revenue or lost opportunity damages. Nothing excludes liability for (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence, (b) fraud, (c) any liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

You may terminate any time by cancelling in /account. Britwise may terminate if you breach these terms (after 14 days' notice, except in cases of serious breach requiring immediate suspension). Following termination, your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. EU/UK consumers retain any mandatory protections under the law of their country of residence.

We notify you at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date = acceptance of the new terms. If you disagree, you may cancel and request a pro-rata refund of unused fees.
